Gotta Sing, Gotta Dance


Celebrate seniors' month and the art of staying young with the Burlington Footnotes Senior Performing Troupe Inc! This upbeat, fast paced musical variety extravaganza showcases the talent of the 50+ generation. Dazzling costumes, fabulous choreography and high-energy performances provide fun for audiences of all ages. The show is 2 and one half hours with a 20 minute intermission.

Studio Theatre

In 1985, Brooke Johnson became friends with Pierre Elliott Trudeau, 1 ½ years after stepping down as Prime Minister. He was no longer doing pirouettes behind the Queen but sometimes he was hanging around with Brooke, sliding down ice-covered staircases on Mount Royal. Through reminiscences, journal entries and correspondence, Brooke brings to life the story of a remarkable friendship.

In this live musical quest, Franklin will face his greatest challenge when he tries to reclaim his sister Harriet's stolen golden necklace. On this courageous crusade,the gang must triumph against a series of unexpected obstacles in order to win the treasured Silver shield, including a fire-breathing dragon, two riddle loving gargoyles and a wild winged beast!

The Hobbit - Theatre Sans Fil


Recommended for all ages

Theatre Sans Fil brings to life J.R.R. Tolkien's classic children's story "The Hobbit",in a puppet play inspired by the classical technique of Japanese Bunraku theatre. Using fantasy, poetry, make-believe and magic the Company has successfully united it with original and modern set design, lighting and music composed by musicians familiar with the art of puppetry. Don't miss this enchanting tale for all ages.

The Last Christmas Turkey

The prize turkey destined for the church supper goes missing. The unwitting turkey-nappers turn out to be Nancy and Braden, a sister and brother from the city who wanted to keep Tom for a pet. Tom with the aid of three animal friends take off on a desperate bid for freedom. All ends happily as an old Christmas legend proves true,and a new legend is born. From the fertile imagination of Wingfield creator Dan Needles comes a rollicking holiday treat for the whole family.

Pyaasa is a play that explores the issues surrounding the caste system. It tells the story of an eleven-year old untouchable girl named Chaya, whose mother begs a woman of a higher caste to give Chaya a job at a local tea stall.
