site is a fascinating journey into the past, but Markham Museum isn't all about history.
They host exhibits about international history, science and the arts.
The historic church and outdoor pavilion are ideal for weddings and family or company

The 200th Year Anniversary Parade and Celebration of Cavalry in Ontario
Time: 10 am to 4:00 pm
Admission: Free
A parade and celebration honoring 200 years of cavalry in Ontario dating from 1810 with
the formation of Buttons cavalry troop in Markham. A must attend event with the Governor
Generals Horse Guards Cavalry Squadron, Military Band, Interactive Military Displays and
much more, of interest to the entire family. |

One of Ontarios premier fine art shows and sale returns to Markham Museum. There
will be entertainment, food and great music. |

Family Camp-In
Time: 1:00 p.m. (Saturday) to 11:00 a.m. (Sunday)Admission: $25 Adults, $20 Children,
$75 Family of 4 (max 2 adults), $10 extra per person for food. All prices plus HST.
Children under 2 are free.
2010 Family Camp-Ins will be on a new night Saturday! Enjoy camping on our Museum
grounds and a new afternoon program! Get the full camp experience without the long drive.
Put up your tent and participate in a wide variety of activities, arts and crafts, and
mini-golf. Once the stars start to shine, well gather around and roast some
marshmallows, sing a few camp fire songs and best of all, tell a few ghost stories. Bring
your own food or enjoy our light BBQ dinner and breakfast for an extra $10 per person!

Come out for a great summer day - enjoy classic cars, live entertainment, and a hands-on
kids area all set on the beautiful Museum grounds. |

International Museum Day
Admission: Free
International Museum Day will be held on Monday, May 24th and marks the season opening of
the Museum. Admission is free so bring the entire family and tour the grounds. There are
many historic buildings to see and learn about from our team of experienced interpreters. |
