| The Rose Theatre Brampton announced
today shows of theatre, dance, music and comedy in its 2007 - 2008 season beginning
this September 22 to April 30, 2008. Taking the innovations and best features of the
world's finest theatres, combined with the most technological advances in stage and sound,
the Rose Theatre Brampton exceeded first season expectations by nearly 200% with 137,000
people in attendance last season. The second season is expected to do even better with
some unforgettable Canadian and International acts including over a dozen acts that are
exclusive in the GTA to the Rose Theatre and are on sale now. | May | June | July |

Whoville! These classic, colorful tales are seamlessly brought together by Jojo, a
young boy and "thinker of strange and wonderful thinks"! As each story unfolds
you will marvel at how relevant and profound Seuss's subtle themes are; making this
musical one that appeals to all ages.

The Rose Theatre Academy is pleased to announce the launch of the SHAKE it UP! Student
Shakespeare Festival. The Rose Theatre Academy is committed to preserving the rich
artistic history of the Brampton area, while embarking on new endeavours that will provide
opportunities to expand the communitys imagination, creativity and social bond. The
Rose Theatre Academy realizes that todays youth are tomorrows future. This
program will allow the youth involved to not only experience the magic of live
performance, but also gain valuable and transferable skills like teamwork and creativity.
This year Gordon Graydon Senior Public School, Peel Alternative School North, and Cardinal
Leger Catholic Secondary School will come together to perform scenes from Romeo and Juliet
each in their own unique way. |
