70 Collier St. Outside City Hall

Stock the larder with farm fresh produce, honey, eggs, wild birdseed, hand crafted items, fish, meat, baked goods, preserves, maple syrup, plants and much more. The Market is a good ol' meeting place to talk to friends, catch up on the news, voice your opinion, play a friendly game of cards while enjoying coffee, juice and baked goods.

Open Saturdays from 8am to 12:30 outside City Hall all summer long.

FESTIVAL OF BANNERS EXHIBITION

Orillia Museum of Art & History, 326-2159

Over 175 banners representing the 2008 theme, Memories of Mariposa, are being painted by the citizens of the community, to be erected in the Downtown core, creating a stunning outdoor art gallery! New this year: 7 large wall banners, commissioned by local artists will depict the whimsical and endearing ‘Mariposa’, the fictional town of Stephen Leacock’s beloved novel Sunshine Sketches of a Little Town.

7TH ANNUAL ROTARY FESTIVAL OF TREES

Holiday celebration featuring a "winter wonderland" of trees & wreaths! Gala, fashion show, children's Teddy Bear Breakfast, silent auction, raffle draws & more! This much anticipated annual event is now in its eighteenth year. Works by over 125 artists from across the region will be on exhibit at the MacLaren from November 7 to 14.

 

On the night of the event, you can walk away with an original piece of artwork or any number of great finds donated by local business partners.

 

Tickets are $50 per person.
