Over 175 banners representing the 2008 theme, Memories of Mariposa, are being painted by the citizens of the community, to be erected in the Downtown core, creating a stunning outdoor art gallery! New this year: 7 large wall banners, commissioned by local artists will depict the whimsical and endearing ‘Mariposa’, the fictional town of Stephen Leacock’s beloved novel Sunshine Sketches of a Little Town.

This much anticipated annual event is now in its eighteenth year. Works by over 125 artists from across the region will be on exhibit at the MacLaren from November 7 to 14.

On the night of the event, you can walk away with an original piece of artwork or any number of great finds donated by local business partners.

Tickets are $50 per person.
