ENGELBERT GAYAGOY
Collection: Undress Me
Womens Wear
Inspired by the Middle East, this existential and artistic collection is completely red and uses lace and silks.

ULA ZUKOWSKA (www.ula2.com)

ERYN REID
Collection: Abracadabra
Men’s & Women’s Wear
The oppression of women and the burning of so-called witches in the 18th century inspired this dark collection. The colours red and gold are seen throughout the designs and she uses silk, cashmere, wool, lace, paisley, brocade, leather and velvet. In collaboration with Millivent Vee, she has also created a knitwear collection of mohair capes, tops, skirts, sweaters and accessories.

OLIVERA SAVIC

Inspired by the France in the 70s and Paris in the 40s, this dress collection stays true to the DAMZELS line of feminine, warm, provocative designs. Fall/winter 2003 features misty, dirtied, pastel ultra-suedes, English-biased tweeds in olives and dijon, deep, shadowy velvets and rich colours like deep chocolate and garnet.

NEW LABELS SHOW
Featuring 4 very exciting young designers:
Rosa Constanzo, Ranjit Chopra of C59 Black Label, Mila Finkelshtein of The Waiter / The Slut, and Caroline Lim of Kity.
The collections feature pinks, browns and a healthy dose of black; fabrics range from wool and denim to chiffon and leather.
Rosa Constanzo’s designs were inspired by refined independent women who have emerged from a metropolitan Eden, resulting in a sexy, feminine and savage collection.
Ranjit Chopra of C59 Black Label was inspired by his homeland of Katmandu Nepal. Ranjit admired the inner beauty, wisdom and grace of "Chandra" one of the elders in the village.
Mila Finkelshtein’s The Waiter / The Slut collection was inspired by "Goldie Locks and the Three Bears" (after the bears left). Featuring a whimsical, girly line with "I’m a mess" slogans silk-screened over chiffons and cottons.
Caroline Lim of Kity took her inspirations from the contrasting metaphors of a woman and a rose. She believes that women have both soft and strong traits and translates this by combining denim, cotton, knits and lace with leather, stencilling and spray graffiti.
